Italian musician, composer and arranger, Paolo Maria Jannacci is an eclectic jazz player: he plays the piano, accordion and bass.

Education

He began studying the instrument at the age of six with Lina Marzotto Pollini and Davide Tai. He continues his studies of instrument and harmony with his father Enzo Jannacci, Paolo Tomelleri and Maestro Ilario Nicotra, in parallel with a linguistic-humanistic education.

He has been a professional musician since 1988.
In 1990 he graduated in languages ​​at the International Linguistic High School in Milan. Since 2008 he has perfected his musical skills at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Como with Maestro Carlo Morena.

Artistic and professional activity

He plays Jazz actively in a trio with Marco Ricci (bass/double bass) and Stefano Bagnoli (drums), in a duo with Luca Meneghello (acoustic/electric guitar) and with the Air Quartet quartets – Marco Ricci, Stefano Bagnoli and Daniele Moretto (trumpet) – and Strings Quartet – Marco Ricci, Stefano Bagnoli and Luca Meneghello –. With the In Concerto Con Enzo project he re-proposes the jazz pieces and songs of his father Enzo Jannacci.

Recent activities include the tour with J-Ax and Fedez. With J-Ax he shared the Fabrique stage during the 10 sold out dates (October-November 2018) celebrating 25 years of his career.
Furthermore, Paolo Jannacci's activity is divided into different fields: soundtracks for films, advertising, record productions and acting, live.

On 4 October 2019 his first album "Canterò" was released (Ala Bianca Group) and with the song "I want to talk to you now" he took part in the 70th edition of the Sanremo Festival in the Big category.
