Dino D'Autorio began studying classical guitar at a very young age with M° Abner Rossi and then went on to study electric bass with M° Mino Fabiano.
He then studied double bass at the Civic School of Music in Milan and later attended the Civic School of Sesto San Giovanni (MI). Together with friends Walter Calloni and Mauro Paoluzzi he forms The Cast, with whom he has the opportunity to form a multifaceted rhythm section and record for numerous artists.
He follows an advanced course for double bass with M° Monfredini (Conservatory and Rai - Milan) and graduates in Harmony and Composition for Big Band with M° Filippo Daccò at CDM in Milan (1991).
Artistic and professional activity

For seven consecutive years, the referendum held by Guitar Club magazine elected him "Best Bass Player Ever" (1985-1992).

He lends his collaboration as a musician in some commercials and theater shows with related albums, among which should be mentioned A Midsummer Night's Dream (G. Salvatores), Grease (1997), The Fame (2004). As sound engineer he collaborates in Cain and Abel, the first Italian musical written and directed by Tony Cucchiara. Takes part in numerous television programs for Rai and Mediaset as a bassist including Una Rotonda Sul Mare (three editions), Buona Domenica (orchestra M° G. Vessicchio - 1995), Viva Napoli (1996 -1997-1998 -1999), Bravo Bravissimo (1997- 1998 - 1999), 30 Ore Per La Vita (1997- 1998- 1999), Io Canto (orchestra M° M. Pica, 2009 - 2010- 2011).
