The Sound Engineering Course
30 of the most authoritative professionals in the field of sound engineering make up the teaching staff of the Sound Engineering course, with Lorenzo Cazzaniga as Head of Department. The program covers all aspects of sound and includes instructors such as Diego Maggi, Taketo Gohara, Giovanni Boscariol, Alex Trecarichi, and Marco Barusso.
Three years of training covering all theoretical and technical aspects needed to shape a well-rounded professional capable of working both in recording studios and live settings: from theoretical subjects such as acoustics, computer science, and electronics, to microphone techniques, hands-on workshops, and DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic, and Ableton, to practical experience in recording, mixing, and mastering.
The annual workload ranges between 583 and 608 hours, including on-campus lessons and activities in partner studios such as Alari Park Studios and Core-T-Zone, as well as practical experience in live settings.

Where Sound Engineers Work
Indoor environments
Recording studios, radio studios, theaters, installations, film and television productions (films/documentaries/videos). Dialogue, sound effects, and audio management during production and post-production.
Professional roles
Studio engineer, live sound engineer, location sound engineer, mixing engineer, dubbing engineer, broadcast engineer.
Outdoor environments
Live event productions: concerts, conferences, congresses, fashion shows, sports events, conventions, openings.
The program is recognized by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and leads to the First-Level Academic Diploma in Sound Engineering (DCPL61), equivalent to a university degree.
