Admission Procedure

Admission to all First- and Second-Level Academic Diploma programs involves:

  • Registration for the exam – you can view the registration procedure HERE

  • Taking the admission tests

  • Enrollment and matriculation of successful candidates

  • A basic skills assessment test for applicants who do not hold a First-Level Academic Diploma in Popular Music

The admission test is designed to assess the candidate’s instrumental skills, technical knowledge, and musical maturity; failure to pass it precludes access to the program.

The second test – the basic skills assessment – verifies theoretical knowledge and general musical culture. Candidates who do not pass may still enroll but will incur a theoretical subject credit that must be cleared by the winter exam session.

Consult the exam program details for the Academic Courses.
