CPM Tiny Desk Concert #2: Pure
CPM Tiny Desk Concert
#2
Project: Hesanobody
Song: Pure
Artists: Gaetano Dino Chirico, Michele Macrì
In this second episode, Gaetano Dino Chirico, with his solo project Hesanobody, and Michele Macrì return as protagonists. Both are graduates of the Pop Rock Composition Academic Course under the guidance of Diego Maggi and Lorenzo Cazzaniga. Their songs convey the energy and musical vision of the new generation, offering the audience an intimate look at the students’ creative journey.
The CPM Music Institute has always been committed to fostering the artistic expression of its students, promoting and supporting projects that highlight their talent: from CreaMusica initiatives to the TinyDesk format, the Backstage web series, and numerous events organized throughout the year. This constant commitment is further emphasized by the high visibility of prestigious events, such as the Castello Sforzesco concerts, active since 2019 and organized in coordination with the City of Milan.
Gaetano Dino Chirico
Hesanobody is the musical alter ego of Gaetano Dino Chirico, described as an alt-pop artist, music producer, and sound designer. Originally from Calabria, he now lives in Milan, where he is active in the underground indie scene.
Recent Singles: After a quiet period, he returned in 2025 with new tracks such as Saints, Hanami, and Pure. The latter, inspired by the sunlight filtering through the leaves (komorebi), is an ode to the value of the present moment. He has collaborated with producers like PLASTICA, Fugazza, Suorcristona (who have worked with Mahmood, GINEVRA, and Noemi), and Federico Ferrandina, a renowned composer of film and TV soundtracks.
Awards and Projects:
Contests: Gaetano won the “Accademia della Stella Negroni” contest (2023), reinterpreting the historic brand jingle together with fellow CPM Music Institute students.
Institutional Projects: He was part of the creative team that composed This Moment, the official jingle for the Torino 2025 Universiade.
Educational Activities: As a third-year student in the Pop Rock Composition course, he participated in the “A lezione con…” initiative, giving a lecture on plagiarism and sampling at Collegiate Milan North.
Michele Macrì
Michele Macrì is a graduate of the Pop Rock Composition Academic Course.
He co-starred in the first episode of the Tiny CPM Concert, a format that showcases students through intimate and authentic performances: together with Gaetano Dino Chirico (Hesanobody), he performed the song Saints.
