The Open Weeks at the CPM Music Institute are key events in the institute’s academic calendar, offering students the chance to immerse themselves in a vibrant environment full of artistic and professional inspiration. Held twice a year, in May and November, these special weeks pause regular classes to make room for concerts, seminars, talks, and masterclasses led by prominent figures from the worlds of Rock, Pop, Jazz, Funk, and Electronic music.
During the Open Week, the CPM Theater stage becomes a hub of experience, where both established and emerging artists share their expertise and stories with students, creating unique moments of exchange and growth. Past guests have included notable names such as Gil Goldstein, Franco Mussida, Billy Sheehan, Manuel Consigli, Isabella Turso, Cucina Sonora, Angelica, Pippo Pollina, Raffaella Zago, Matteo D’Ignazi, Studio Cemento, Luigi Sidero, Massimo Russo, Kiwicave, Rocket Science, Federico Pepe (Ableton), Davide Tagliapietra, Anna Castiglia, Laura Casadio, and Daniele Bressni.
These events not only enrich students' educational journeys but also serve as a bridge between the academic world and the music industry, offering a concrete view of professional dynamics and future opportunities. The CPM Open Weeks remain essential experiences for anyone aspiring to a career in music.
