Michael Fantoni

He is an established bassist and associate professor at CPM where he teaches Electric Bass and Ensemble Music in the  Junior courses . His passion for music and his deep knowledge of the instrument make him a point of reference for many young students.

He began studying classical piano at the age of 11. His musical path then brought him closer to the Electric Bass and, having moved to Milan, he graduated from the BAC Electric Bass course , under the guidance of Maestro Dino D'Autorio . At CPM he also completed a year of  High Specialization  and successfully attended the Preparing for Teaching Prospective course , the course aimed at  students of the AFAM ,  BAC  and  DIP courses  who have achieved the required average and the prerequisites necessary for admission. It is a path that takes the form of a  1-year practical internship  that includes support and assistance from Department Heads and teachers with many years of experience within our Music school. During his studies he participated and played, accompanying artists and guests such as  Zibba ,  Lorenzo Fragola ,  Beppe Dettori ,  Cristina Donà ,  Wrongonyou ,  Alexia ,  Gabriele Comeglio . "In CPM I was lucky enough to study with teachers who, to this day, I look up to with extreme admiration for their ability to transmit passion and love for Music in their lessons. It is precisely for this reason that, in turn, I wanted to undertake a path as a teacher and I am grateful to have been able to start right inside CPM. In the same way, in those years of study I found friends, now colleagues, with whom I shared hours and hours in the study room and thanks to whom I began to work, once I finished my studies."

Charles Capobianco

He graduated from CPM in 2024 at the three-year academic course in Pop Rock electric guitar with the thesis: Fusion. History and evolution of a "total" music, a style in search of an author . He has been working with Michele for more than 3 years in Naska 's live productions . In 2024 he began his collaboration - live production - with Alberto la Malfa (Amici) - where in addition to playing the guitar, he takes care of the musical direction. Together with three former classmates he also runs his own recording studio. Alongside live performances he teaches in various schools in Milan. Active both on the Live and Studio fronts, he has played with Ermal Meta , Enrico Ruggeri , Malika Ayane, Morgan, Tosca, Franco Mussida, Stefano Di Battista, Pino Scotto, Saturnino, Andy and Livio Bluevertigo, Nick The Nightfly, Ricky Gianco, Mario Lavezzi, Bocephus King, Martha Rossi, Ketty Passa . Thanks to the CPM castings he takes part in the musical “Maria”, also becoming a guitarist in the tour “la iena e il drago” of the iena Andrea Agresti and Giorgio Vanni . He was the electric guitar in the song “Lascia che io sia" by  Nek , which saw him as the protagonist  in the CPM Open Week of November 2021. “ In addition to the quality of the lessons, courses and teachers, the thing I am most grateful for at the school is the network of friends, now “colleagues”. Some, after a lot of work, are taking beautiful paths and I can only be happy about it!”
