The third exam session for admission to the Academic Sound Technician course for the 2024/2025 academic year will be held on Monday 22 July.

The three-year course to hone your skills in the world of entertainment, music, film and television production. In Italy, currently, there are few courses, recognized by the MUR, dedicated to the training of this professional figure. One of these is the Academic Diploma Course in Sound Technician of the CPM Music Institute. Acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to enter the world of work.

The Sound Technician course
30 of the most authoritative professionals in the field of sound engineering make up the teaching body of the Sound Technician course, of which Lorenzo Cazzaniga is the Department Head. The studio touches on all aspects of sound and boasts the presence of teachers among the such as Diego Maggi, Taketo Gohara, Giovanni Boscariol, Alex Trecarichi, Marco Barusso.

3 years of training in which all the theoretical and technical aspects are addressed aimed at creating a complete figure, capable of working both in the recording studio and in live contexts: from theoretical subjects such as acoustics, IT and electronics, to microphone recordings, to laboratories , from DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic and Ableton, to the practice of recording, mixing and mastering.

The annual amount of hours is between 583 and 608 hours and includes lessons on site and in associated recording studios such as Alari Park Studios and Core-T-Zone, as well as practice in live contexts.

The three-year period is recognized by the Ministry of University and Research and allows you to obtain the First Level Academic Diploma in Sound Technician (DCPL61), equivalent to the University qualification.
