The Art of Beatmaking published by Volontè & Co. aims to harmoniously combine tradition and modernity, broadening the concept of musical teaching and adapting it to the most advanced digital instrumentation available to musicians and producers.

The book was born from the need to combine tradition and modernity in the world of music teaching, with the aim of being a complement to composition courses that wish to combine the rich traditions of musical art with the infinite possibilities of modernity. Through the study of beatmaking, transcribed into sheet music and with audio examples for download, the aim is to discover the roots of tradition and arrangement through the exploration of contemporary musical genres.

Elements of music theory, a creative composition path and 50 beats transcribed, analyzed and listened to in downloadable MP3 files, make up this interesting journey into the art of computer composition and arrangement.

Thanks to the educational tools offered by The Art Of Beat Making, it will be possible to begin a real journey into the art of composing and arranging on the computer, discovering completely new approaches to composing digitally in an optimized way.
