Friday 30 June, from 2.45 pm, the CPM Theater hosts the final of L'Artista che non c'era, the competition organized by the magazine L'Isola che non c'era and now in its 20th edition!

Here are the finalists who will take turns on stage:

  • AB29
  • Campi
  • Edoardo Chiesa
  • Emanuele Conte
  • Hell
  • Irene Buselli
  • Kalika
  • Marte
  • Noe Tommasini
  • Miriam Ricordi

Also this year the competition saw the participation of "instrumental" musicians among which WUZ emerged.

Born in 2004, the competition L'Artista che non c'era is therefore renewed as an unmissable appointment for emerging authors and for those who already have one or more albums behind them, but who have not yet had the opportunity to make themselves known to a wider audience and by a large number of professionals.
The material sent by the semifinalists was in fact listened to by a jury made up of 100 professionals including record companies, musicians, producers, music journalists, etc…
We remind you that there are 2 sections of the competition:

  • General, where all those who want to present an original piece sung in Italian, in dialect, in English or any other non-Italian language can register
  • Instrumental, reserved for artists/groups who want to present exclusively instrumental pieces.

There are 2 winners of the "Instrumental" category and their pieces will automatically enter the CO2 Project, the initiative that Franco Mussida and the CPM, in collaboration with SIAE, the Ministry of Justice and the University of Pavia, are carrying out with the aim of educating listening and giving relief in Italian prisons.
The instrumental one is a section to which the competition pays close attention, given the ever-increasing weight and interest that this way of understanding music is experiencing.

Among the various bonuses provided for this new edition there is still the Nuovo IMAIE Promotion Announcement (made with the funds of art. 7. Law 93/92) which makes available a tour of 6 dates, fully paid for, up to a maximum amount of 15,000 euros.
