CPM Students: interview with Giacomo Gulino
This video interview with Giacomo Gulino, enrolled in the 2nd year of the Three-Year Academic Program in Piano & Electronic Keyboards Pop Rock, is the first in a series where the protagonists are our students and graduates, who will tell us about their experience at CPM and the particularity of each Course, daily life among students and professional outlets.
Giacomo Gulino
Born in Sciacca, in the province of Agrigento, he began playing piano at the age of four. After graduating from the conservatory, he decided to enroll in the CPM Music Institute, thanks to the advice of Maestro Giovanni Boscariol.
From Classroom 1, the room dedicated to the Pop Rock Piano & Keyboard course, he tells us about the program, the teachers, his experience as a winner of Best Solo Performance 2023 and sharing this passion with other CPM students.
The figure of the keyboardist, as Giacomo explains, is in great demand in the national music scene: fundamental within a band, he often knows the parts of all the other instrumentalists and is also in charge of balancing frequencies.
At CPM it is possible to undertake the Academic Course in Pop Rock Piano and Electronic Keyboards to obtain the First and Second Level Academic Diploma, titles equivalent to a Bachelor's and Master's Degree, respectively.
Department head is Filippo Rinaldo, supported by Giuliano Lecis, Giovanni Boscariol, Fabio Nuzzolese and Massimo Colombo.
